Summer vacation was quite an adventure this year. We had so much fun visiting a lot of our family and did a lot of driving. Here's a quick peek of what we did.
In California we visited Grandma and Grandpa Chipman. Then we went and stayed the night with Joe and Tyrah. It was fun exploring Berkeley and hanging out all together.
The girls got to sit on Uncle Scotty's motorcycle.
In Oregon we had a lot of fun with Grandma & Grandpa and the Wests. We celebrated Emma's birthday together and hung out.
There are two things you can count on at Grandmas West's house: awesome quilts to snuggle under and books to read.

We got to do a tennis clinic and the girls had a great time.

After, we went to get yogurt together.
Back in California, we got to see Melanie, Uncle James, and Grandpa in The Fiddler on the Roof. James conducted the music and Grandpa was Tevye. Man, he was made to play that role. When he came on stage, you were completely transported. We completely forgot that it was Grandpa up there on the stage because all we saw was Tevye. The girls' favorite part was when he got scared during the dream scene. It was so good!
While we were in California, I took the girls to visit my dad's grave and to show them where I grew up. I got to see my childhood friend, Courtney, which was so much fun! We stopped at one of my favorite places to eat (Val's) and got some awesome milkshakes!
