Visiting Great Grandma Cheek

Before we moved, we were able to go to Lake Havasu one more time to see Great Grandma Cheek. The girls really remember her with fondness and still pray for her every day.

The kids remembered to mind their manners. Brandon sat nicely on Grandma's lap for a while without wiggling. It was a tender mercies for me because he would never sit still for any extended period of time. Grandma kept bending down to kiss his head and it was so sweet because it was not easy for her to do. She and Grandpa were happy to see him and shared some fun stories from when they were younger.

Kaitlin thought it was really fun to ride on Grandma's lap on her wheel chair.

Bowling with Uncle Scotty

We had a lot of fun when Scotty came to visit last spring. We went bowling with the girls at the new complex they built in Maricopa. It was pretty nice and we had as much fun as possible while trying to wrangle the kids.

Throw Back Spring 2013

Uncle Brian came to visit and we got to meet Aunt Maddie for the first time while she and Brian were still dating. They were sickening cute the whole time they were together.

Softball 2013

Emma played her first season of softball last spring and she loved it! She and Mike had so much fun practicing in the backyard and he was able to teach her how to have a pretty quick swing. She got a little scared when she was up to the plate, but she hit the ball a few times and she did really well on the field. She made some fun friends and still loves to find excuses to wear her uniform.

She got to carry the banner for opening day.

During the season her team went and watched a Sun Devil softball game. They got to meet Sparky and get pictures with some of the players. They even got to be on tv when the game aired.
