We are so very grateful to have Emma in our family! She is growing up so fast and is such an important person in our home. I love her fun nature, her occasional boyish ways, her beautiful face, and how smart she is. We are so lucky to have her as our own. I remember when she was born, I was overwhelmed with the feeling of what a privilege
Emma was so lucky that we were visiting our family in Oregon on her birthday. Instead of me making the cake this year, we decided to decorate zoo animal cupcakes as part of the party fun. The girls each made a couple and we had a sleep over at Grandma's where we watched movies and painted nails.
We decided to go to a drive through zoo called Wild Life Safari the next day. Mike had been in Utah and he came home the night before we went. It was so much fun to have daddy back and to go to such a cool place as a family. The animals were so close! Our favorite were the bears. They were playing with each other in the water and near the fence. It was crazy how powerful they were and we were glad that they were enclosed instead of being able to walk up to the car.
Selfie! Nice tongue Kaitlin!
See the road the bison is walking on in the back? We had just driven there!
Hi Macy!!
Each of the girls took turns helping daddy drive around the park. I think Kaitlin loved it the most.
After we drove through the zoo, we had a picnic lunch and played at a playground there. It was a very fun and happy day.
