Aunt Virginia and Uncle Doug were kind enough to let us stay there for a few weeks while we were waiting for our house to close. We were so, so grateful for their hospitality and generosity. Aunt Virginia spoiled us with some delicious cooking and she got some back to school clothes shopping for the girls. I loved occasionally taking walks with her around their neighborhood and having girl talk. Doug also spoiled us by getting the girls new shoes for school. One of the last nights we were there, they even watched the kids while we went to dinner and a movie! Their generosity is amazing.
Their basement is beautifully done and I especially loved the whirlpool tub. I miss it greatly! It was a little challenging having all three girls sleeping in one room. Especially when Kaitlin discovered how to climb out of her crib a couple of days in. Brandon slept in our room and we ended up putting him in the closet because he doesn't like sharing a room, he never goes to sleep!
While we were there we took a trip to the Hogel Zoo. We still prefer the phoenix zoo, but there were some fun features that the kids loved.
One of the days, we had to go down to the Provo area to run some errands. We stopped at the mall to play and get a few things.
