We got to celebrate Scotty's birthday with him this year because he was visiting. We decided to do a little plotting concerning his "cake." Mike and I found this card that the outside said Birthday's are a lot like ninjas." Then the inside said, "They sneak up on you, but at least they have cupcakes." (Or something like that.)
So after dinner, we opened his present and let him read his card. What he didn't know was that Emma had snuck away and changed into her ninja costume. Then she grabbed a cupcake. Hehehe.
When he had enough time to read the card, she snuck up behind him and smashed a cupcake into his face. It. was. awesome. Her timing was perfect, Scott was totally surprised, and we were all cracking up.
