We decided to take the kids and the dog on a hike to Stewart falls this summer. The kids did pretty well considering how long the hike is. It's about 5 miles round trip.
Emma and Anya were the trail blazers and often had to stop and wait for us to catch up.
Brandon wanted nothing to do with the baby backpack. He wanted to hike it on his own. On top of that, he didn't want us hold his hand. He wanted to climb over ever bump and hill all by himself.
Needless to say, he got really, really dirty.
He got a little tired toward the end.
Anya super-manned it on the trail and got a face/body full of dirt. It was pretty funny, especially since she didn't get hurt at all.
Mike and the kids went down to the bottom of the waterfall . .
then Mike hiked up to a ridge that puts you right under the waterfall.
We took this hike way back when, before we moved to Arizona. We were missing quite a few family members in that picture. Here's then vs. now.
