Emma's 10th Birthday

Emma is one special girl and we are so excited to see where her passion for nature and animals takes her. She had such a fun year doing softball, choir, and soccer. In addition to reading some pretty hefty books (like the Harry Potter series) for the first time. She has also been an important part of the Chipman family team by helping with the youngins and doing chores daily.

For her birthday she wanted to do a nature focused party so we celebrated near bridal veil falls. She helped me make bumble bee cupcakes.

They had fun catching bugs in bug jars and they did a nature scavenger hunt.

And we walked together to the falls where the girls had fun climbing and playing.

It was a pretty exciting birthday for her because her present was getting her ears pierced. She didn't know if we were going to let her or not so it was a pretty fun surprise!

When we went to do it, she was visibly nervous, but she still did it.

For her gifts, all her friends and grandparents gave her money. It wasn't planned, but ended up being a really good thing for her because she bought herself a new bike. She was so excited and loves going for rides around the neighborhood.
