My family had a family reunion -minus Joe and Mike : ( in Sun River Oregon. It is a big resort town with cabins that are connected by bike trails and also has a lot of other fun things to do. We had such a blast and I am so glad the girls and I were able to go. Emma spent a week playing with her cousins and I spent a week playing with my siblings. It was awesome.
Favorites:
- Relaxing with my family for a whole week. It was so nice and I really loved talking with everyone and just having fun together.
- Hours of bike riding on great trails through the beautiful Oregon mountains.
- Playing Bang with Logan, Scott and Tyler over and over again.
- Lots of swimming, in the pool and in the river.
- Floating down the river with the girls, Sunni and Logan and Tyler in what Logan said was a Class -5 river. It was a very slow float and often we had to paddle. Logan and Tyler kept jumping off of their raft and swimming over to our boat. Every time they got close, Sierra and Whitney would start crying because they were scared of what Logan would do. (Even though he never did anything.)
- Playing an 80's version of trivial pursuit and ragging on each other when we did or didn't get the questions.
- Jumping off the bank into the river with Lance and Logan.
- Fresh air, great weather, beautiful scenery.
- Learning how to drive a Vespa with Lance.
My mom and Larry even joined us on the bike trail for a day.
