Anya's Baptism Aug. 2016

Our sweet Anya was baptized last year into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She amazed us all by setting a goal to read the Book of Mormon before she was baptized and she did it all on her own. Her service was really sweet and we really appreciated the family who came to support her.

Sam was visiting for EFY and got to come!

Logan was here too, he was taking the picture.

Washington Trip 2016

Last summer Mike's Grandmother passed away. We drove to Washington to attend the funeral and support Alan. Mike had such fond memories of going to her house as a child and of Washington. It was nice to see his Grandpa again and visit the house where Alan grew up. It was nice to meet more of his relatives and to attend the beautiful services. The extended family sang together a song that Alan had written for her. Mike's brothers and sisters were able to be there and we all stayed at a house together. While sad, it was so good to get together and spend time together without the interruption of the kids.

While we were there we visited the shore, Frisko Freeze, and Point Defiance park. It was beautiful and the weather was surprisingly clear. I feel in love with the beautiful scenery and the feel of the town.

Anya's 8th Birthday

Our sweet, spunky red head had a fun 8th birthday. She decided she wanted an ocean theme. We had a sand castle cake, played some games, and made an ocean in a bottle. It was fun and we were grateful for her awesome friends who joined her.
