For Emma's birthday we made a mustache cake and cake pops. Emma is super into mustaches right now. They are very popular. She was very excited when her friend gave her a mustache shirt. It was pretty funny.
Emma and I made her cake together. It didn't look like the pictures on pinterest, but we had a lot of fun and decided at the last minute to make some mustachioed cake pops that were super cute.
We took Emma and a friend to go see the new Avengers movie. Mike and I had seen it before and she was pretty excited to watch it in the theater.

For her birthday, she got roller blades. Maybe some day she will be able to keep up with her parents on them. Hehehe.
Happy birthday to our sweet, energetic, smart, funny girl. You are getting so big, it makes me want to cry. We are proud of the amazing girl you are becoming.

Here's Emma when she was 4 wearing my rollerblades. We used to push her around in a stroller. One time we went to the library and got a ton of books. We put them in the basket of the stroller and rollerbladed them home. About 6 blocks into it, the wheel suddenly fell off. We had gone so fast, with so much weight that the wheel literally melted off. It was so crazy. Mike was pretty talented pushing a 3 wheeled stroller home while still wearing his rollerblades.
