Here is a conversation we had during dinner today. Emma got up from the table before being excused and here is what was said:
Mom: Emma come back to the table and have 4 more bites.
Emma: Nope
Mom: Emma, don't say no to me, you need to come and obey.
Emma: I need to come and go play.
Mom: (Has to turn away and laugh at her quick witted 5 year old.)
Emma: (Runs away to play.)
1 point Emma. 0 points mom.
Although, in my defense she did come back eventually and have her bites.
