Anya has a really little and very cute voice. She has a hard time saying her r's (like most preschoolers). I'm sure she'll get it eventually because she can make the r sound by itself, she just has a hard time putting it with other letter sounds.
The other day, Mike and Anya were unloading the dishwasher and Mike was trying to get Anya to say a certain word (containing an r) correctly. They tried it for a few minutes and Anya was really working at making her mouth make the sounds come out correctly, but she just couldn't do it. Finally she said, "But daddy, I just say it cute!"
And that was the end of that. : )
