We got an amazing spot for the 4th of July parade this year, it was shaded, near the announcers, and right up front. If I haven't said it before, I'll say it again, the Provo 4th of July parade is one of the best in the western United States. Kaitlin and I went early to get a spot so she had a fun time messing around and dancing to the songs the announcers were playing. Here's a fun video of her dancing with the group.
We were super lucky that Mike's family was in town so we got to have lunch with his mom and dad, Sabrina, Scotty, and Ginny and Doug. Of course with Ginny and Helen cooking, it was absolutely delicious.
After lunch we went to the BYU men's soccer game. It was so much fun and the kids were super excited that they saw one of the girls from Studio C (a BYUtv skit show).
After the game, we had great seats in the stadium to watch the fireworks. While we were waiting for the fireworks to start the kids had fun running around on the field and playing with glow sticks. Emma found a game of soccer that a bunch of kids were playing. Kaitlin and Anya had fun chasing each other around the field. We were excited that Brandon actually watched the fireworks this year and didn't cry. Another amazing 4th of July in Provo!
